The first worship song in the Bible is found in Exodus 15:1-21 when the Israelites were rescued by God through the parting of the Red Sea. This story tells us why Christians sing.
1. Because God’s salvation fills us with joy
2. Because God is worthy of praise
3. Because singing unites us together for the journey ahead
